About Me and My Work

Life can be a confusing melée of events leading to anxiety, worry, and sometimes trauma. I help my clients to understand what is happening for them, validating their feelings and experiences and supporting them to trust their intuition and create their own solutions.

Through working with both a person-centred and pluralistic approach, I truly believe each person has the answers within, and through empathy and emotional and practical support, they can tap into these solutions.

As a qualified Sex and Relationship therapist I have experience many different presentations in the therapy space.  From pain to functional discomfort, through to communication breakdown and betrayal within relationships. I have a keen interest in working with clients with issues around body image.

My passion is to support the world to have better communication and sexual engagement, with each other and themselves.

My Approach

Initially, I carry out a thorough assessment to get to know each person as a whole, whether working with couples or individuals, so we can make a plan, collaboratively, on the best way forward.

I understand that talking about sex and relationships can be very difficult, so my aim is to make clients feels comfortable from the beginning of our time together, a colleague described me as "Very professional but also very human, Jessy is warm, open and ever curious".

I offer both long- and short-term counselling for adults, aged 18 and above, in a safe, confidential and online setting, supporting people in a goal-oriented way that works for them.

Counselling isn't necessarily just for difficult times but can also support and maintain a healthy sense of being.
